Hey all what do you think aboat running a regular car sealed beam headlight?is it the same as the oil deal motorcycle/car just cost more for the motorcycle. thanks for input Craig

I think the difference is just the light pattern. Im poor, so I picked up an H4 7" from a range rover in the junkyard (lucky find!) and im gonna run that. You can tell that it is not totally symmetrical light output, doesnt bother me tho...  ;D

I got a Sylvania H6024XV sealed beam from Advance Auto, $16. It fit right in, no problems. I'm a daytime headlight user, not too much night riding. The low beam filament is rated for 850 hours, about twice normal. Its been seven years, 14000 miles, still good.

55/65watts, I think is a little more than original (40/50w?) but it doesn't run the battery down.
