CRC it and be damn carefull if you do decide to punch it out, the alloy in those carbs is brittle as.
I'd use one of the other pivot pins from your carbs as a punch, hold it in some long nosed pliers (grips) and gently gently tap it out.
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

I cut a length of music wire from a hobby store to use as a punch on the 2-3 carbs as I did not like punching at an angle with a pin punch.  It runs through the 1 or 4 and then rests against the 2 or 3. a pencil torch is handy but the carbs need to be very clean and very dry to prevent death or dismemberment,  getting those pins out is delicate work.  a cast support standoff, with years of use, and some pitting, will snap like a dry twig.  If you do break one off, I have used dental drills and tiny pins up through the center to reattach them.  Much like a tooth implant procedure only no blood.  That is even more delicate of an operation.

And pay close attention to what Hush says, those mounts that hold the pin break easy.  So when you get to finishing the job just be real careful.  It is part way out, just don't be to rough on it now.  Or you will end up with a bigger problem.  Good luck with it...

I think the key is working some penetrant in. When the pins were able to budge, I got some vice grips and started pulling/twisting. They came out, but the ends were chewed up. So don't rush yourself, get some penetrating oil on the pin and let it sit. Then try to push the pin through with a small nail or something.

And check those pins when you get them out.  If they are buggered up you should put new ones in or there is a good chance the float will hang up.

If the pins have burrs you can stone them smooth and save yourself the cash.

If you tapped them out, you might have distorted the end, so you may need to sand it back down so nothing binds.  Same for any marks left by pliers.  And if you do snap off one of the mounts, it can be micro-welded by BigJim.
