This is totally off subject - but check out my blog on my trip down to Louisiana to help the dogs and cats coming out of the New Orleans flood!

The big adventure begins tomorrow morning!

Hi Linda, I'm in the UK so can't do much in the way of practical help but I've given my two dalmatians an extra cuddle in sympathy for the unfortunate pets caught up in Katrina. regards, John.

The wife and I where watchin TV and were heart broken that all those animals where left to fend for themselve.

Go Linda!

Oscar and Ivy the beagles send you a hearty well done.

The Cats were somewhat aloof but seemed generally to support your efforts.  ;D

Our basset, Connie, would have been chest deep in the first 12 seconds of the flood.  ;D

Quite the conundrum, if you don't  provide for taking pets along with rescued folks, some folks refuse to leave. I know our basset is like our child of 13 years, how could we abandon her.. don't even want to think about it.  :(

Good luck with your efforts.
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

Thanks to you all!  Check out the Blog-got in today and am ready to go out tomorrow and ....wash dogs??

Not sure what I will be doing, but the people here in Louisiana are about to pass out on their feet!  I brought my digital camera, and hope I can take photos-there is a web:  www.missingpets.com what I can load the photos up onto for free! And there are about 4-5 other sights, but I'm having a hard time getting to actual photos of the "found" animals.  Anyway, tomorrow should be interesting for me!

I'm trying to update the blog each night, so everyone who donated to the cause can be kept in the loop!

Getting late!

Linda (in Louisiana!)
