Erson Cam Question
« on: September 13, 2008, 07:21:07 PM »
What do these numbers mean on this CB750 cam? Came out of a motor built years ago, and blown-up recently. One end has:  268 AS  126 and other end : ERSON 12 G
One lobe is slightly damaged w/ a groove, who can repair cams?

I believe Megacycle no longer has "fresh" cams. They require your cam to rebuild one to their specs.

Never heard of Erson?!
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

Was that your Yoshi bike Andy? Erson camshafts is still alive apparently, why not contact them and see if they still have the specs? I remember when they were Sig Erson Camshafts, I had one in a small block Ford V8 many years ago, it was a good "bump stick". Cheers, Terry. ;D

I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"
