Die-cast gas cap for Sandcast 750
« on: September 13, 2008, 07:36:43 PM »
Picked up a couple  gas caps today, thinking they are sandcast 750.

So I am wondering, does the rib on top, run most of the way up like on a pressed one?.. that is the end of tip is close to the circle formed by the round parts of the cap.

And is there a slight notch on the right side on the cap at rear for the flipper? .. this is quite hard to see unless you really look..

The early caps used a phillips screw instead of a rivet. What I like is a cap w/ nice chrome and w/o the dumb lock.
