side cover holes?
« on: September 14, 2008, 06:53:04 AM »
Want to fill emblem holes in CB500 side covers. I am re-painting. What is a good filler to stick to the cover that can be sanded and painted?

Still cannot find "Post Topic" buttons on other forums. WHY!

Thanx Much!

2 thin layers of fiberglass cloth and resin on the back in quarter size patches and then JB weld the front.  Tape the holes on the ouside to prevent run through when using the fiberglass.  JB sands surprisingly well, it is after all, just epoxy with some fillers.
