Do I NEED Clear Coat? And If so what kind?

Hi I just got finish painting using the "Hammered" Spray paint. Everything looks good, but do I have to put on Clear? Do I need clear on before I wax it? Thanks!

I've done a lot of searching on the matter, and the general consensus is that most paints out there are not fuel resistant and a good two part clear is needed.  You can either take it to an automotive paint shop locally or try this spraymax stuff, which is hugely popular.
