Well..

I hope I don't appear too biased..but I just have to vote for the 550 again..thus my vote for FunJimmy's ride.

I also like the very clean mods..and the Borrani-type rims/Brembo-type calipers & rotors look great too. For a cafe type seat..I think he did a very good job of smoothing out the lines.  Like the fact that he retained the original tank..with it's characteristic look. After seeing that..the other mods seem to fit in well W/O looking out-of-place.

Think it's hard to modify these old rides in ways that look good..but still preserve the original aesthetic appeal.  FunJimmy accomplished that well with this build I feel.

I have to go with Jimmy's, the icing on the cake was that he retained the original tank and fender and still made it look cool. It's a racer mod but still has that vintage feel. Nice Job!

Question for you Jimmy, did you fabricate the rear seat pieces yourself?

Yes.
There have been many parts including the seat & fenders that I've been busy making for this project.
Most of my effort has been directed at the chassis and overall style of the bike.
This winter I'll focus on the engine and paint.

If you're interested check out the project forum: http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=27159.0

Thanks for your support.

All really cool, but I have to go with tsflstb's cb400four.  The black rims with the black pipes and forks look killer together (and the fact the the spokes were kept clean to match the polished engine covers).  The red piping on the seat is a great touch to "bookmark" the tank and boxes.  I also dig the fact that are no fenders.  Cool build amongst two other really cool bikes.

OK that does it... the quality of bikes here is just too damn high!!

I think we need a crappy BOTM thread where people can submit $#!%. Sounds good, no?

Again three very worthy candidates, but I too have to go with Jimmy because it's the bike here closest to what I want mine to be like.

I'm going for FunJimmy's, but I'd still like to see some more angles of kghost's.

I really wish FunJimmy didn't have that modern muffler, but the rest of the bike is... wow.

cb350f and cb400fs have damn near the same riding position, i don't get your comment... if you don't want your 350 just say so... your in the right place to hand it off to someone that will love it more.   ;)

FunJimmy's 550four gets my vote.  I am partial to the 550 anyway, but that build is super clean.
