There is a cafe in McCall almost identical in setting, altitude, and color. It even has the same parking lot, there are a few diferences now that I look at it but very close to an identical copy. The local summer ride here is to Jackson hole, hundreds of bikes, all summer long. I'll have to get some good pictures this summer.

CR550F

Here is mine to add to the cafe mix.
Based off of a '75 550 SS
Not quite finished yet, but you get the idea. Just paint and a few other tidbits to come.
Its a runner now.
I was going for the roadracer look, but without a full fairing it still comes across cafe.
I'll have some finished specs for it in a couple of months.

Oh man are you in trouble!   ;)  Is that an externally driven rear set alternator?  There have been a couple of threads in SOHC4 forum, rising to contentiousness. You'll have to go start a thread and explain what I see.

Nice bike from what i can see!

ok from the beginning F2 chassis 37mm boldor forks PVM 18" wheels K2 engine with boldor pistons 820 ccm ,31mm cr carbs and alternator from citroen visa.
chassis works very fine the engine runs very quick to high rpm because the crankshaft has not to turn the original alternator works like a high ligtens crankshaft and you need no detector.
the front brakedisc is cb500 with f2 brakes rear is original f2
Fueltank is from ES
ive buyed this bike in parts without alternator so  I was sometimes searching after a very little car alternator and found the citroen visa alternator rest is selfmade.
some detail pics coming soon.

so long stepahn
