Topic: see thru visufilters become soft and restrict

had mine on for only about a month,it turned flexible causing a fuel restriction that was hard to find,the clear plastic turns soft from the gas ,bent and blocked the fuel,drove me nuts couldn't figure out what was wrong it was bogging out in the highway, when i looked at the filter it showed gas was in it but the end towards the carb is the end that bent

so many addatives in gas who knows,the plastic stays soft even cold,got them at the Honda dealership went yesterday for some more,when you get them they are clear plastic and turn yellow in time,they are good to have though just keep an eye on them take them off and blow through them,,I took the points off replaced,replaced the coils with some spares all for nothing

Experienced the same thing, filter stem had bent about twenty degrees and was kinda 'kinked'.
