this a good series...was thinking of getting another four and do a cafe street tracker deal. Any good or bad parts about this year and series.

77/78 550 have several different bits (like carbs) and are most difficult of the 550 to get parts for e.g  exhausts and air to carb rubbers are unobtainium

There are a lot of parts you'll have trouble finding. A number of parts are interchangeable, but things like carbs are not. A lot of parts you will find are only '77 and '78 model compatible. I will say... It can be a paint. But I like my '77.

always wanted a 550 to put by the 650...I like the flat seat options. guy said a guy stole it and it was recovered same day but now wont kick start...so I am making sure it has a title and looking into why it wouldnt kick start all of a sudden....
