Although I didn't know him my heart and sorrow go to him and his family during this stressful time. Whoever knows him or his family, please convey my best wishes and sympathy. Will be looking forward to hearing of his progress and full recovery.

Raul's got a point. noone knows when mark will be able to access his paypal account. if anyone wants to donate funds, it can be done through my paypal account (paulages@hotmail.com). it's empty now, and i don't forsee using it anytime immediately soon, so it'll be easy to keep track of. there are a lot of expenses that could come well before a bike- hell, we don't even know if he'll be able to walk, let alone ride. he did get completely screwed over by his landlord while he was in the hospital.... his mother managed to salvage some of his stuff, but the landlord tried to throw everything out when he didn't make rent at the first of the month. i'm sure he'd love flowers when he's awake, but i'm sure a five here and there wouldn't hurt either.

I pray God's grace on Mlinder's physical and mental well being with a speedy recovery and strength for his family.

I think a third party paypal is the the way to go to ensure the money makes it's destination, whether that's for medical bills, flowers, or the bike.  I'll sign up for a paypal account and send it your way paulages.

Wow. I just discovered this thread. I don't know mlinder but it doesn't matter.

All I can think to say is that I'm praying for ya brother.

One more thing, it's humbling to witness the humanity I see on a regular basis within this forum and it's enough to get a guy choked up.

I too am just reading this and it sucks!!! By the brief description of the accident it REALLY sucks as it sounded somewhat avoidable and likely VERY regrettable for the other rider involved. I am guessing he is pretty broken up by it too....

Well, I had posted a little while ago that I have a Clymer manual for the SOHC 750 yrs 69-78 for sale for the first person with 15 bucks. Just changed my mind....the first person who needs the manual and makes the 15$ (or better) donation to Paul's fund for Mark gets it. I will even cover shipping (Canada Post ground so it may take a little while). I will also make a donation as soon as I can get money into my PayPal account (it takes a couple of days unless I do it off of my card). Just IM me if you are interested in the manual....Paul I hope you don't mind me doing it this way. If so just say the word and I will remove it and just stick to my own donation and donate the extra $15 once the person pays me directly...
