My family and myself are all praying for a swift recovery mark, Our best thoughts go to you.

Donation Sent.  Thanks for the updates.

My wife and I were talking and I'd like to say again, this online community is something to behold.  I'm not even sure that most peoples close friends would get together and take donations like this.  Flowers i'm sure, but a get well fund....not likely.

Damn  :-\ I had no Idea.  I thought I had it bad with my broken ankle, I hope Mark makes a full recovery.  Only met Mark that one short ride we took this summer, but he is a super nice guy.  Hopefully we'll ride again.  Get well Mark

I don't know Mark either, but he was the first to offer me a place to stay when i made my trip out to Portland.  I do feel close to a lot of you through the constant communication this forum allows, but it's times like these that i feel frustratingly distant.  I hate that I can only offer a donation of money when my whole being wants to be there for a guy I feel like I know and respect in a time of need.

This news rocked me pretty hard and my thoughts are so with you, man.
Get well soon.  We need to have a beer together.

i'm constantly surprised by how good people are on this forum. many of us will never know each other in person, but are willing to go out of our way to help each other. wish more real communities were like that.

I really have no response for this, but I'll try anyway. I'm fairly new to the boards, don't 'know' any of you, but I do know there are good, warm and welcoming people here. It's not a common thing to find as far as forums go, I'm a member of a few other bike forums and I would consider them fairly hostile.

That being said, I hope Mark makes a speedy recovery. The reality of people on forums doesn't really hit you until something like this happens, and I genuinely wish him well.

no new news, folks. i'll try and call his mother tomorrow. more donations have come in, and several people have expressed the desire to be private about it so i'll not thank people specifically, but thanks to all.

I just spotted the thread, this is terrible, I hope his family is able to manage the distress.  Tahnks for being a solid guy Paul and keeping up with his mother and managing the donations.
