oil pump info needed

In the next few weeks we will be starting to build next years race motor.
Although we have all the specs for wear in the oil pump, we have not started in this department yet, and I am wondering what we may find.
The reason I ask this is I have not seen on here anyone with oil pump problems, has nobody had problems with oil pumps on CB750s ?

Sam,
I've never had, or heard of people having, problems.
We rebuilt our pump back to specs on my motor.

Andy, why did you rebuild your pump if it did'nt have a problem, or are you like me wanting to be on the safe side after spending several grand on the thing.?

I haven't had problems per say,

I replaced one I thought was runnin kinda low.

There was some scoring internal to the scavage side........

Any one know where to get the internals?

Sam,
I should not have used the word 'Rebuild' .
We dismantled the pump, made sure all clearances were within tolerances, they were, and reassembled it.

 It's a good idea to check the rotors. I haven't seen them"wear out" BUT I have seen gouges, nicks, scrapes etc which can compromise pil pressure.

Evening Mike, hows things.
Ghosty mentioned some scoring in the roter body, probably replaced it with second hand pump, as he asked where to get parts.
Should be pulling ours apart in the next few weeks prior to the rebuild of motor next month.
The last meeting of the season in the morning at Santa Pod, about 145 miles away.
Chris is hopeing to break the class course record if the weather holds out.
