I love my gauges;they are German made & marketed by the PCCC Co.
I purchased them when I first went into my M/C repair business.
I have found the best way to get a lasting Synch is to adjust the carbs.
complete i.e. matching All float levels, cleaning All individual pods, clearing All
carb. vents, etc. Timing - spot on, Valve adj., etc. , etc. It's alot of labor, but
when you take your time and apply plenty of TLC to ea. area...THEN when you
synch your carbs..well, the synch will hold for many more miles. I think that
the synch will stay on the carbs that way, while the valve adj.,timing,etc. will
be the things that need to be adjusted in a preventative manner.
You really can gain good ground in all around performance from your stock
set ups w/o any mods by just keeping ahead of the battle w/ fine tuning.
ENJOY THE SMOOTH RIDE...AND HAPPY TRAILS !
