Hey Sam, I'd offer to pay that no account nephew in Richmond a visit for you but I suspect
a fellow on crutches wouldn't be to intimidating. Besides, I hate to have my crutch kicked out from
under me. For some reason that Knight in Monte Python and The Holy Grail comes to mind.  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

You're welcome here Sam.  I'm an hour or so from Atlanta if you're planning a stop there, or you're welcome to detour over here.  If you're in need of some pretty girls to look at, I'm in Athens, GA home of the University of Georgia.  

I didn't gather if you're riding a bike on the trip, but depending on how much time you have, you might want to take the opportunity to go up to the N. Carolina/Tennessee/Georgia border and ride the tail of the dragon.  318 curves in 11 miles.  I'd take a day to meet you there for that.

I'll be in a van Dusty. Depending how I route it Athens might be a possibility.
I fly into Atlanta but then on to Richmond. On the way home I have quite a long wait in Atlanta, about 7 hours.

I've just got off the phone to my nephew and he's picking me up at Richmond Airport when I arrive.
I have a hotel booked at Valdosta for the Finals at the end of my adventure.
I just need to figure out the middle bit ;D ;D ;D ;D
I'll be meeting up with Mark Dusterdude before we head off to Piedmont but after the racing I need to decide if I rent a car or go by bus, I think I'll wait and see what happens ;D ;D ;D ;D
