Sam, I would rent a car. The buses here are not exactly like the UK. The folks that ride the bus are kinda unique.

I had a quote from Avis at £670 for the four weeks

I turned it down

by the time I had put gas in it, it would cost me a months wages

oh good LORD, dont take the bus! theyre more expensive than the train, though i'm not sure if the train goes where you need, theyre filthy too.

Have a great trip but don't expect anything of our "mass transit" especially the bus!! We really don't have what Europeans consider mass transit except for planes. Some trains provided you're in the right corridor. If you get on an Amtrak train and end up headed west by mistake I can pick you up in Denver or La Junta, CO.

It's a small thing but I felt a bit proud when 'Burt' mentions, while at the bank, Springfield Massachusetts to the secretary. Springfield is a stones throw (OK, 45 minutes) from me and I went to college within blocks of where the old factory was. I think it's condominiums now. $:-\$

What part was far fetched... Hopkins squeezing his big Mellon into that vintage Bell?

Hi Tony, I'll be in Ocean Springs to the east of Gulf Port from around 28th/29th Oct to 5th/6th Nov.

Was hoping to take in the odd race meeting at Gulf Port raceway, there are events on both Wednesdays.

Other than that, I'll probably be fishing

Bought a new cell phone to day with camera and video on it, also 200 pre paid minutes.

Got it from Best Buy, told them I was an employee and got 50% reduction, it was $59.99 with the pre paid minutes.

Hi Benny, you missing me allready

For other forum members, Ben is Chris's Son and the third Rider in our Team.
It will be his first season next year as a junior racer (12 year old)
Ben will be riding one of my vintage Benly's hence his user name.
In the US you will know the bike as the CA92 but it has been built to look more like a CB92 (Google the numbers for pics if your intrested)

I'm just in the process of finding a van to hire for the weekend Ben, weather here is around 85 degrees this after noon.
