How to remove oil seal
« on: September 27, 2008, 12:52:52 AM »
I am trying to remove the oil seal from the front fork of my 400F. I tried to heat it, boiled it, but no luck. Is the metal ring you can see on the picture part of the old oil seal or not?

By holding the fork above the furness (my wive wasn't home). So the heat trick did work.
Another question: what type/weight of fork oil must be used?
