Stolen 1973 CB350F
« on: September 25, 2008, 04:42:34 PM »
I'm in Atlanta and sold my friend in Hendersonville NC a 1973 CB350F with original paint, nice patina to it, and pretty well shot JC Whitney after market pipes with some brass braze work on them. He was still riding on the NC temporary tag!

Please keep an eye out and if you see, call the Hendersonville, NC police.
I'll follow up with the case number and police phone number as soon as I get them.

VIN = CB350F1033683
Case #   2008-92046
Henderson County Sheriff's Office direct # 828-697-4911

Note the unusual looking exhaust...That rusty spot has some low quality brass brazing around it

Here is a recent photo of the bike. This sentence is link to a higher res photo.

Son of a .........

I hate when these things happen.

Here's a link to the google members map Duck: http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&oe=UTF8&msa=0&msid=105375307252375959185.0004524c430a65b394f70&mid=1216462815

Looks like we have a few folks in that state. I'll keep my eye out here in Canada but I doubt the theif will get this far  ::)

Thanks. It could show up anywhere. A sweet running little bike. I'm looking for a replacement for him now. Anything from another 350F to a 550.

These punks are ripping and parting on eBay, so you have to watch for the unique items to show up there.

That really pisses me off. It's shame, it really is. I hope you find that replacement, even if that bike can't be replaced.

I'm always on fleabay looking for parts for my own 350f. Are there any particular or unusual parts from your bike I could keep an eye out for in case the culprit tries to part it out? (sorry to think of such a horrible scenario :'(

Culprit should be buried up to their ears in a red ants nest with honey poured over their nads!
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

Nothing unusual aside from the fact that she runs like a sewing machine, has original paint with dent free body work, and has those funky JC Whitney pipes shown in the photo. Would be a shame if she gets parted, she's a good bike with an easy trouble free 50k left miles left in her.

bastards' you cant have nothing these days, I would suggest to any one who really loves there bike to have it fitted with a GPS locator, Costly i know BUT not as costly as loosing a bike that you spent most your time and money restoring polishing and can never be replaced.
