Topic: New guy checking in from VT - 1981 CB650

I have been lurking here a while and want to say thanks for all of the valuable information.  I recently picked up a 1981 CB650 with under 9000 miles on it.  It runs great, but it needs some cleaning, and I think it was dropped because the blinkers were missing and there is a dent in the alternator cover.  I am trying to restore it to original condition with some cleaning and rust removal.  Here is a picture and thanks again for these forums.

Yeah, it came with that seat but none of the blinkers so the front blinkers are 3 dollar marker lights I got at Autozone 

It's currently getting worked on in my landlords shop, and he runs a tree service.

Welcome from SC. Were flying into  Burlington next week to see family in the NEK. I havent seen foliage in 17 years and cant wait.
