I think many of the young punks who buy and work on those plastic bikes are idiots.  Present company excepted. ::)

        1981 CB650c Custom with '79 engine (wifes)
        1981 CB650 engine
        2004 HD XL883C Custom
        1977 Yamaha XS750D (in progress)
Then 1972 CL175
        1964 Yamaha YGS-1T
No ride is a Bad ride

Have had many "interesting" conversations with the people sport bikes tend to attract.

I am railing on sports bikes all in good fun, just to get that out of the way...


But the last time,I was waiting in a bank and had my helmet with me and was approached by a guy maybe a year or two older than me and the conversation went about like this...

"Ah man you ride, cool, what bike you got"

"CB550"

"Ah I did not know they made them that small, CBR550?"

"Nah its way old, a CB550"

"Never really heard about them... is it fast"

"Not really, what bike do you ride?"

"Gixxer750, I have gotten that thing up there man..."

He then proceded to tell me the two times he had run from the police and gotten away...
Was friendly enough though.

That was tooo funny, poor guy.  I posted it in another forum.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.
