geez, its a nice bike but thats more than i've ever paid for ANY vehicle.

5K is a little rich, but the rear set mounts look real nice.
Are they a factory item?
I also like the front fork set up too.

For that much money I would want the shift patern to be correct.  If you look at the linkage, it is 1 up, 4 down.
Now  1972 CB350FX (experimental v2.0)
        1981 CB650c Custom with '79 engine (wifes)
        1981 CB650 engine
        2004 HD XL883C Custom
        1977 Yamaha XS750D (in progress)
Then 1972 CL175
        1964 Yamaha YGS-1T
No ride is a Bad ride

 A K8 is on Craigslist in ABQ for $900.  Guy says it is his regular ride.  For that price, you could then do whatever you want.

some people think it makes the bike more racer authentic... i think it would just screw me up.   ;)
