New guy from Michigan
« on: September 26, 2008, 06:24:25 AM »
Im from Port Huron and just love these old bikes. I've been lurking this board ever since wanting a 750 SOHC. I recently sold my CB350 to fund a CB750 cafe build that I plan on doing over the winter.

I just picked up this bike a couple days ago for $800. I think I got an excellent deal. It's a 1977 CB750K. 14k on the engine, runs really strong. Has decent tires, a new battery, new chain/sprocket. A lot of the rust is cleaning up nicely. The exhaust pipe is now rust free and Im going to sandblast and repaint the header, as with almost all of the bike. This weekend, she's getting the full tune up.

I'll post my progress in the Project Bike section.

Welcome. Looks like a nice clean bike there. Look forward to the winter project pictures.
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.
