This is shot with a cannon HV20 and a 35 MM adaptor.

This is as close to film quality as you can get on a budget. Obviously there are other options but a set up like this might cost you three grand instead of oh say twenty.

Not to mention editing cost of digital is the cost of the software you choose....

I am in the later stages of pre-prod on a movie I will be filming next summer. I have everything needed but a full cast. Camera, funds, etc. all taken care of. For a documentry style thing just shoot everything you can, also a benefit of digital, film is cheap.
