Will a set of '75 CB550 carbs bolt onto my '78 CB550K?

Yes. But you need the whole bank of carbs. My 78 550K has different carbs than all the other 550's, but they do fit other models.
And my 78 carbs use a single fuellline, all the other 550's use 2 lines.

77-78 carbs are the same, but the carbs from earlier bikes fit. Very minor mods will have to be made, and possibly tuning. I toyed with the idea of putting earlier carbs on my '77.
