How do I crimp Dyna High Supression Spark Plug Wires?!?
« on: September 26, 2008, 09:54:54 AM »
I went to cut them down to size and noticed that the inside of the wire is only silicone and fibers. I have the metal crimps, but I am unsure of the proper way to connect them. Anybody have experience with this? ???

Thanks!

-Zev

Get the mini crimper from MSD. It is very inexpensive and works great.

What does that coating do for the diametre of the piston? Is only the skirt coated?

Cheers, Rob
Better sorry for failing then for the lack of trying.

Yeah I do when it comes to bits of information I can use for myself in the future!!
If $$ is available I plan on having this done to a set up pistons I have for my 650.

HondaMan,

That is one of my pistons.  The pictures are on my build page.  That piston was modified by Mike to make it better (lighter) and it was then sent to Swain Tech for the coatings.  The dome was coated with a ceramic and the skirt with a anti-friction material.  These pistons will never burn up or wear out.
