Hi there.  I am trying to find a rubber boot that connects air box to carb.  I found a 72 cb500 air box for sale, but it differs from the 78 air box.  Do you think the boot itself would transfer over and work on my 78 air box???

Thanks for any input.

Also, if it won't work, does anyone have one lying around or know where I can get one?

No.  The 77-78 CB550K air box boots are unique for those years.

Used seems to be the only source left.

Just a week ago, I saw another member say he was parting a 77 550k and I needed both the boots and the cover/snorkel which he kindly sold me. I think you just have to watch the board for anyone parting out or making a cafe out of their stocker. Is it just the outside that are shot? It seems the sun is the culprit on these.
