i want to change a .wmv song file to an mp3 so i can burn it to disc and play it on my old sony cd player out in the shop. is it possible? if so............how?

If you want to burn them to disc to play on an old cd player just burn them as an audio file.
XP will do it for you, right click the file/s and click "add to burn list"
Do this with all the files and, put a blank cd in the burner and click "start burn"
dont know about vista but i reckon it will be something similar
