Here is a thread on using Liquid Legtical Tape to repair boots if you can't find replacements.

Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

I bought a set from hondaparts-direct.com for my '76 CB750 - I think they were $8 apiece.

I got a set from David Silver Spares for my 74 550.  Cost me $40.67 based on the exchange rate on 2/19/09 when my credit card was billed (I'm looking at the credit card statement right now).  $40.67 included the cheapest shipping option they offered to have the parts sent to my house in Kentucky.  If I remember correctly, took about a week or so to get them.  They fit perfectly, and pricewise were comparable to 4 pods @ $10 a piece from my local motorcycle shop.

+1 on DSS. I got mine a couple weeks ago also. Just over 39 dollars shipped. It took seven days from the day I ordered to the day I had them in my hands.
