Hello Friends and Strangers,
I've been lurking for a few weeks here trying to absorb as much information as I can. I'm a resident of Oakland, CA--work in San Francisco and have had this bike since 1999.
It's a mostly stock early CB550 Four manufactured in 09/1973. I've been riding more and more because it's really fun. I'm working my way up to the mad morning commute to SF.
Bike was running great last week but ignition/electrical gremlins have gotten the best of me and are testing my resolve and repair skills.
I recently picked up a gorgeous project bike that I'll post some pics of later. It's a stock green 1973 CB350 Four that needs its carbs rebuilt and an oil pan swap for starters.
