New to bike world, greeting from NYC
« on: September 29, 2008, 10:22:15 AM »
Hello all. I was highly recommended here from someone I spoke with a couple weeks ago. I just got my license. Always been into bikes. Just picked up a 750f with 9700 miles on her. Needs a tune up and the floats fixed. I plan to turn her into a cafe racer. Bars are on order, new mirrors, custom seat too, spoke wheels, new paint and we will see what else is on the horizon for this bike. Looking forward to it.

Any other guys (cafes?) from NYC area?

Thanks Andrew

Hi form Westchester County. I have a bone stock 78K.
Dedicated to Sgt. Howard Bruckner 1950 - 1969. KIA LONG KHANH.

But we were boys, and boys will be boys, and so they will. To us, everything was dangerous, but what of that? Had we not been made to live forever?

Welcome from Bergen county!

I went cafe with clip-ons, boattail seat, etc., then I went back to mostly stock for comfort.

Good luck.
