The early 250 Extra Large does have Showas, or at least same make as 750..

difference being, the length of the slider, they even accept 72 and earlier disc brake hanger I believe (or part of it), but it is in the wrong place.., I think axle clamp is different.. but I think parts of the patterns were used on both forks

 Your only problem really id the distance of the grroove from the top surface of the fork leg..

I got the Harley Dust Covers Friday. They fill the gap much better than the XL250 ones did as so:
XL250:


Harley 1976 XL Superglide


The Honda XL250 Dust Covers left a lot of the groove visible as well as they moved up and down within the groove.

The Harley XL (coincidence!) almost fill the groove and they don't move. I'll go with them. Thanks 754!

Cool... now we just got to find out if you can still get them snazzy chrome covers for them and if the seals are the same... makes it 2wice as easy to find seals on the road..
