yeah being in grad school and just getting a job i dont think i will have the time to do it all myself, i want to get her road worthy as soon as possible. should i get her fully tuned before winter or after? i live in north west arkansas if that matters. i dont think it gets extremely cold here in winter so i still might ride her the 2 miles to school and back everyday. what is your opinion

Now i would say if your going to put her up for the winter then no but since you will ride then go for it plus she will be ready when summer hits you just don't want it sitting around for prolonged periods without running.

I know there here in the Chicago area, bike shops are very busy in the spring doing tune-ups for people, to the point where it's hard to get an appointment.  This may be different in Arkansas but your local bike shops are probably in their slow time right now, might get a better deal on atune-up if you do it no instead of waiting.  Call around and see.
