How many of us are in the Dallas Texas area?
« on: October 02, 2008, 05:50:25 PM »
Curious to see how many of us there are here around Big D.  Seems to be a bunch way up north.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

I am up in McKinney, just north of Dallas.

I will be in Athens at a rally with a different forum with my other bike on th27th, 18th and 19th.  Really hard to get away with three kids so i will miss the Luckenbach meet.

I'm over in Ft. Worth, (well now I'm vacationing in the desert), but normally I'm there.  A DFW crew meetup would be cool when I get back.  Maybe a get-together at a restaurant, then a ride or something.  All get together and BS about old bikes and whatever else for a while.

I'm on the north side of Houston, about 2 1/2 hours down I45.

I vowed to get to the Harvest Classic this year but it's a tough call for that weekend.  It's the same as the big airshow at Ellington field (went for the first time last year and it blew my mind), some wildflower festival thing for my kids (yawn), and a track day at Grand Sport Speedway in Hitchcock (it's a small twisty track and I hoped to get the 400 out for a spin if I still own it).  It would be cool to get a few folks together in Luckenbach.  Are you bringing your bikes KG?

I could probably do the HC on Saturday and the trackday on Sunday.  It may come down to the weather forecast.

I've learned not to plan or pay for anything too far in advance.  I have a couple of $75 MotoGP bookmarks to remind me.

At least three bikes of mine are going....possibly two other 750's are as well (not mine....buddies).

Should be a sweet weekend....We should all get together. Theres camping.......
