I have 2 coats of Rustoleum Professional fire engine red on the frame and fairing bracketry.  Sorry, no frame photo yet.

Painted 2nd round of black on the Rickman fairing (wet-sanding between coats).

Stripped the tank and even managed some time to bash in some knee dents.

You can't make too much popcorn, but you can definately eat too much popcorn.

I really really hate knee dents....take a good looking tank and bash some dents in it......oh what a waste of a good F tank!  :-\

Anyway nice photos Ben and really looking forward to seeing the fairing and brackets on the bike...I hope you are going put the Hayashi wheels on this bike!  ;) What are you doing for a seat and an exhaust?

cheers
Andy

The dents will be on the subtle side don't fret yer britches ya big Scot!  Plus there are 2 big ugly dents from PO's that are getting some filler too.

I've been thinking about the Hayashi's on the F3 too.  I really love their ride on my K6 though!  The Hayashi is drum braked as opposed to the hydraulic disk for the F3 so that would be a challenge.  I do like the disk in the back.

Ah I see you point about the rear disk...Id keep that as well....oh well leave the Hayashis on the K6 then (or give them to me ;-)).....

Good luck in making more progress and best wishes to your family

cheers
