Topic: CB650 carb bowl vents - do they matter??

Hi,

The carb bowl vents tubes on my CB650SC are rotted off at the carbs (located between carbs 1&2 and 3&4).  The hoses normally run from the carbs to the front of the air box to recycle/burn vapors from the carbs.  Does it matter if these aren't hooked up?   Will the bike run differently?  Looks to require a total carb seperation to replace these T fittings beween carbs  .
