Carb rebuild question
« on: October 06, 2008, 04:56:08 PM »
I have a 76 cb750f and am rebuilding the carbs.  This is my first bike and I've owned it about 3 months.  I am not sure which screw to use in the location shown in the pic.  The old screw is solid but the screw that came with the keyster rebuild kit, part # 48-1909, has a air channel down the center.  I assume that I should use the old one but then again the bike has never ran that good for me anyway.  Which should I use?  Thanks...

Use the old screw, it is meant to block the vacuum port that is used only when synching the carbs.  The screw with the air passage is a Main Jet, not a screw ;) :)
Give me..a frame to build a bike on, and my imagination will build upon that frame

Ahh...Thanks.  I didn't realize that was a separate part from the part it screws into.
