Actually, both follow in the footsteps of the NT650 (Hawk GT).
It was the original factory streetfighter.
1988 was when it was released.
No.

Yeah it's been a while for me. Hi everyone. Yes, I own a Speed Triple 1050. OMG it is one hellova bike. The street triple is the little brother to the speed triple, but make no mistake it's one snappy little bike. Good power, flickable, light, just a bit less hooligan grunt. Just learn to control yourself, that's my vise.

That is an awesome garage.

I love the vintage signs and the propeller on the wall. The bike's nice, too.  ;)

Since we are talking about Street Fighters, check out Ducati's new "fighter" bike ->

I agree the mirrors, headlight and allot of other little bits need to go, but the bike itself it bad.
Basically a naked 1098s off the showroom floor...

My buddy just modded the fook out of a Street triple. BST Carbon fiber wheels, Braketech Ceramic rotors, full Ohlins, billet triple, and Arrow system. Super nice. Too bad he's in Illinois and can't rock it out...for a few months.
