I hear ya!  My truck dies on me earlier this year and I never replaced it.  Considering the cold is coming fast, I have to hit craigslist for a winter beater.  :(

I have a heated vest but that's rigged to the Suzuki, not sure the honda charging system would approve and the Suzuki has a piece of metal in the rear tire right now. Doesn't help being parked next to my drill press. :( I have ridden in pretty cold temps but it sure seems early this year.

Man I hope it's like last year. I found that snowboarding is actually really fun. My old man took it up too lol. He's 56 years old and is better than me, although he went probably three times as much as I did lol. Any way last winter was great for boarding.

Though my del sol is not a very good vehcile for driving in winter lol...

We are having a mild weekend here, 52f this morning, 78f high today. I got a hundred miler in yesterday. A nice Saturday is my best chance for a decent ride.
I can't wait for a hard frost to knock the bugs down and also take the ragweed pollen out of the air - ACHOO! Colors are on the upswing too.
