I'm with ya fuzzy. 8)  I clearly intended to try to keep up with the holidays for the other countries, so that I could put out the Holiday Wishes to each country, at the appropriate time and looks like I've slipped up. ::)  Glad that fuzzy is on the ball though. ;)

Hope you all have a good one and think of us, as you partake of that meal, like we will when we have ours. :) Well, I will try to remember you all, as I'm chowing down. :D

Let's make Fuzzy an honourary Canadian for the weekend.
     First, the skill testing question..

No, nothing to do with high sticking RM  ;D ;D

No reply from Fuzzy, so you two will have to share the second piece of pumpkin pie with whipped cream.  :)

That is a pretty cool saying there Dave. 8) I'll have to remember that one. ;)

You know, we might celebrate Thanksgiving at different times, but seems like the "Leftover Thing" is the same. :D  We'll be eating on ours for a few meals also. ;) I can hardly wait. (this where we need a "smilie" that is licking his chops). In fact, I've considered suggesting that we have some "Thanksgiving Practice" meals. ;D ::) You are probably thinking that I'm gonna get killed for that one but, I might have a chance though since I actually help prepare the Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter meals. ;) Wife says that I do a good job of preparing meals, when I do it, but I think she just says that so I'll do it some and she can get out of it. ::)

At any rate, sounds like you all have had a good one and that is cool. 8) ;)

Yea, good way to turn a hockey term into a more meaningful expression.

Pumpkin pies are the norm there too eh? Tell you what, one day, I'll send you a pecan pie.  ;D and a sweet potato pie.  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Had a friend come down from Maine for a visit once and Sweet Potato Pie was on his request list for Southern Cuisine.

Hey Thanks Fuzzer me friend, tomorrow for me, it will be an adventure, first time I've down a turkey and squash on the the Barby but what the hell, with enough suds and the proper frame of mind I can cook any thing, its at these times I wish we had our old kitchen set up, but not until the last of the insulation, vapour barrier are up and then the drywall, can we worry about an oven and a counter top range then back to the semi gourmet meals that usually flow in household McIntosh, shrimp Fra Diavlo, Cuban Black Bean Soup, Green Chile Stew Beef Bourginon Ahh I have to stop or I'll weep, and I am thankful for another year with my wife and beautiful place to watch cloud formations, seasons change and the food that we will make together.
Hoist a Suds while you can me lads, for we know not what tomorrow brings.
Bill the demon.

This has been a stupendous Thanksgiving weekend so far. Stuffed to the nuts on turkey etc last night then today out for a fantastic dual sport ride, with dear friends, just out of town. We were up at the 1400 metre level so there were a lot of frozen puddles (always entertaining if you assume that the water beneath is deep enough for the ice to break as you ride over) mixed with the sun-thawed mud bogs. A great time was has by all. And I only fell off twice. What a fabulous day.

We have a lot to give thanks for, living in this fantastic part of the world.

Me too, except for the dual sport part  ;D  The GF and I went for a 100 km ride on the 350 after a thanksgiving lunch today.....lots of bikes out and about. Did some back road cruising, gawking at the fall colours. Lots of fun....especially since it was 24 deg. here in Southern Ont.

But the forecast is downhill I'm afraid. This might have been the last great weekend here:

Forecast for my area:

      MON/ TUE/  WED/  THUR/ FRI/  SAT
High 22°C  17°C  12°C  10°C   8°C   9°C
Low 13°C  10°C   7°C    2°C   0°C  -2°C
