Worlds Fastest Mountain Bike

Old story but dug it up anyway. Impressive speeds but proves carbon fiber can be misapplied; looks like an engineless Cafe Racer.

I think that was him too.  Then he broke the record on a regular mountain bike, then broke the record on the bike he made and at the end of that run it fell apart and he scraped along for 300 ft on volcanic rock.  I didn't watch this vid either, but on the Discovery channel, they showed him after it and he looks rough.  Said it took him 5 years to heal.

 ;D

The reason I posted this was because I'd just seen it on the Discovery Channel. And yeah it was the same guy who blasted down the snow covered mountain. Couldn't find that vid though.

Seaweb11, 132.5 km/h... is that like, a thousand miles per hour or something? When are the rest of you backward countries gonna convert to Amuracan?  ::)

Ha ha, worlds fastest bicycle, and worlds dumbest rider (for not buckling on his helmet) does not make for a nice safe ride!!!  ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)
