Alternate fuel cap

I'm getting dizzy with the prices of the fuel cap latches/pin/spring.
Is there an alternet fuel cap that can be used. Really I like the screw type old-school (if you can call it that) better. Has anyone done this? Where to buy parts.
Thanks again.

That looks good. But does the existing extuded lip on the tank should be cut off in order to fit this one? Also, it does not look like he had/has too many in stock.

ttt
Does the lip on the tank filler come off? How?
Mine is so heavily painted and rusted from the inside I can't tell.
I'm considering these as suggested above. Would it work? Thanks again.
