Hey cdoggy81,

It'll be a while still before I get back on my project... It has been the toughest year of my life and now going through a heartbreaking divorce. Everything in my world is changing and not because I want it to. I just gotta focus on myself and my kiddos now and get adjusted to a new routine and managing a new life. It sucks so bad but I'm slowly clawing my way back up and I know there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I have great friends and family that have been terrific support!

I miss this forum but still check in from time to time to see what all you guys are doing to your bikes!

Bill, I just read thru your build for the first time...some gorgeous stuff going on here. I hope that everything works out for you...as I'm sure it will...and you get back on the happy sooner than later. I don't know you...and I'm a country away...but as much as I can, if I can do something to help a brother...I'm all in.

Just checking in on you and making sure life has been sorting itself out in your favor. Curious about your project too. I've been working 80 hour weeks lately to get some loans wiped away and to get my bike back in the rolling stages. Soon to be tackling the prolink SA mod, I just thought I should say hello. So...

Hey thanks for checking in Chris. I still have a ways to go but I'm getting there. Once my house sells and I get settled in a new place it will be easier to concentrate on my projects. With that being said look what I picked up this weekend...... Like I needed another bike

Man, you lucky dog. That looks so amazing!!! Jealous for sure. Can't wait to see how it runs. I've got a number of updates with where mine is standing as of. Still needing some machining done and some parts sourced, but definitely on the move. Glad you are still moving. I can't imagine all of what you've got on your platter still, but at least you've got good friends and family to lean on when you need. Besides, I need someone to hurry up and work out the prolink kinks so I can have an easier time with it

DB - Great looking project you have here, hope everything else falls into a good place soon. Remember though, no one can have enough motorcycles, I can not imagine the mayhem and madness my life would be without one to build, cuss at, and ride.

Best of luck with your new adventures. I went threw some lows in the last two years like you. Had to put my project on hold, working two jobs and going to school. I come on here and look at other people's builds when I have some free time it make me smile, i know I will finish my project some day. Best of luck keep your head up!!

Just a friendly check in. Hope things are getting sorted and mellowing out a bit. I'm anxious for the yellowjacket to continue, but moreso hoping for life to calm down. Just upended my life last fall and having been here in seattle with my girl for the past 8 months, things aren't even close to settling down. Plus, I don't even have my project out here (it's still in Wisconsin), so I'm SUPER anxious for yours to start moving again

Wow! It's been a long time since I have been here! My house finally sold after two long years and I'm back living in San Antonio. I've been working on making space in my garage for some real work to take place on my bikes. A big THANK YOU to everyone for all the well wishes. You will start seeing some work from me soon! If you have not solved the wiring problem yet just go to Parts-N-More and get the 1975 complete wiring harness. It will work.

Only modify the other parts to fit, but do not alter the new wiring harness.

Just make it all 1975.

I never saw these guys until after I took the water hose to it for the first time. They survived the trailer ride home...er to their death I should say. I have never gotten along well with Yellow Jackets as they always seem to seek me out and sneak attack. Mean little f**kers!

I got stung on the thigh once by one of those yellow jackets. It was a big red bump and was with me for weeks . It really hurt.

good to see you back on the forum dollarbill. I just joined and was looking through your build. I'm up the road from you in Kerrville. Working on a cb400t build right now. finally spent enough time thinking and dreaming and finally getting along with the build now that I have a vision. Maybe we can ride up to Luckenbach for the Harvest Classic in October if our bikes are road-worthy. lotta cool older and custom(not Harley) bikes up there.

Hey Longhorn! I just moved from kville not long ago and still work there. It's a long commute but not too bad considering there is no traffic. What do you do in kville? I work at the hospital. The Yellow Jacket is nowhere near being finished in time for the Harvest Classic but I'll probably still go check it out. Keep in touch and let me know if you go.
