Bike on top is mine, I bought it used in 76.
There should be one more sideview pic showing the exhaust better, maybe I have to resend it.
I started off with a turbo header from Magnum Turbo. It used a slipjoint on the side of the cylinder, but we welded on a 3 bolt flange, and then bent a pipe at a muffler shop that went to the back. Later on I cut it at the bottom of the left sidecover and built a big megaphone with a slashcut end.. actually it was done in the shop beside where I work now 20 yrs later.
I chose this exhaust while it was in an Amen frame and was looking to lower the bike.. a lot.. on the Amen and stock frame the sidestand mounts jad to be cut off.. frame is about 4inches off ground where the stand mount was.. lower at the drags..
I rode this w/o the platform to Bonneville in 07.

The yellow bike is from Calgary Alberta, and was run a lot on the ice circuit, which it won..
As far as I remember it was a snowmobile twin engine and vari-drive. It put out 100 or 110 hp!. Note the permanent angle of the handlebars when sitting straight, puts them straighter at full lock.
He was surprised tjhough how quick we went, espescially with a street tire!.. The yellow bike had knobbies and would roostertail, all the way around the 1/4 mile track..
Those were taken at our vintage track in a cornfield in 03 I think..
I am the big guy/monkey..
