Could adjusting float height affect timing?
« on: October 13, 2008, 09:55:12 AM »
Im Wondering if adjusting the height of the floats could affect the timing?  I might of adjusted them too much but theyre not overflowing. Any way I thought maybe they were set wrong and not getting enough gas. Now its sluggish not snappy at all and no power after third gear. Cant wait to take them off again ;D this is on a 73 350f.
 Thanks

So, the strategy is to lie to people you are asking for help?

I think I'll be busy going for a ride.

Good luck!

It would not change the timing. If you have them too low you can get fuel starvation. Do a search on the forum and you can see ways to checking the height witout removing the bowls.
