CB 350 roadrace 2-1 Headers.
« on: October 15, 2008, 08:39:29 PM »
Just got these, they are chrome but no baffle.

Collector is under engine rt hand cover of engine.

I held them up to a CB 350 without pipes on it, it looked like they would go on if the footpeg bar is removed..ie rearsets on the bike.they are splayed 45 degrees.. pipe at flange measures 6 3/16 c-c. primaries are 20 inches long @ 1.5 od, collector 8 inches long, exit is 1.75 od.

I will be selling but want to confirm fitment.

Bad news bud, I have never posted pics on this forum..

If I am lucky sometimes I used to get a buddy to take them for me, but seems he is busy till 2010.

Slight chance I can get a phone-camera buddy to take a few  and maybe email them.

Guess I am stuck to accurate descriptions and my stellar ebay reputation...

Unless its aftermarket, it sounds more like a CJ360 system.
Don't think it will go on a CB350.

Aftermarket for sure. Also the collector is vertical, that is one pipe over the other.

Look a lot like crossover TT pipes on a Triumph

What is a CJ 360?

What is a CJ 360?

CJ360T:::
Produced in 1976,1977. 1976 model sold concurrently with the last version of the "normal" CB360T.
360 engine,  2-into-1 pipes, fibergalss "tail section" over rear fender.
Two variations, one ('76)with front disk, chrome fenders, and 6-speed tranny, the other ('77) with front drum, painted fenders, and 5-speed.
Not a big seller, seldom seen these days - everyone had "Four Fever" by then.

Either CJ360 exhaust, which looks very nice or MAC 2 to 1 exhaust is also like that, trust me I have checked. ;)

If you COULD get your buddy to take a (or some) shot(s) of the pipes, send them to me and I'll give it a shot and see if I can post it)them) for you. ;)

Not like the MAC 360 at all.

Collector is vertical and beside the engine cover, maybe even higher thn bottom of frame.. probably for roadrace or flattrack..

The MAC 360 exits left side and is real low.
I have pics posted of one in my CB360 trackbike thread
(Project Shop, http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=30210.0, in the photobucket link, forget which page)

Does anyone know what these are? I picked em by eyeball from a pile at the wrecker. The headers came with a chrome meg/ collector that didn't fit too well but when I separated the headers you can see how nicely they fit the motor and frame. They weren't welded to the collector, just a slip fit. No brand name on anything, but definitely aftermarket, headers are slightly bigger diameter than stock CB 350 twin.Must be for something in the 350/360/450 twin family.
Any ideas?
