Neutral switch?

Is that the nuetral switch on the far right? The black circle with four holes in it? I need to check mine out. It's always lit, but a little brighter when actually in neutral.

You have correctly identified the neutral switch. Your problem sounds like a wire shorted to ground. If you remove the wire from the switch and the light stays on. then it is a short.
