Speedo Ratio
« on: October 17, 2008, 09:39:44 PM »
I did a search and someone mentioned using the 2240:60 ratio for 750s, but I think that is for a 21" wheel and my '77 750K has a 19" wheel.  Do I use the 4:1 ratio?

Thanks!

The way I understand it is:
the Speedo is 2240 rpm on the input shaft = 60MPH registered
The tachometer is designated as "4:1"  in other words, 2000 rpm on the input shaft should register 500 rpm on the face.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong here.
