Welcome to the forums.
Some of the 500 stuff fits a 550. But parts for your bike are not that hard to find.

The FAQ section has a lot of good info on keeping these bikes running, and finding parts. If you have more specific questions we're here to help too.

Looks like you have most of the bike complete already.

lot's of things interchange.  lots don't.  There's no exhaustive list that I know of.  Best to deal on a case by case basis.

I'm impressed that you can pick up a 500lb bike.  Aahnie would be proud!

Looks like it could be running in a few hours!  Driveable in a day.

i tried a search but it didn't work, some kind of error popped up. thanks for the link.

i found it on craigslist. bought it from the original owner, got the original title with it and the tool kit. going to need some work but the engine turns and has good compression. the fun begins!

Can you be more specific? There are two search functions here; the Google Custom Search and the standard forum search. Both give different results...  ???

You could go to Honda Parts Direct and compare part #s. They have good prices too. Congrats, 550s rock. Not too small, ride 2 up and look way cool. Welcome. By the looks of the bike you'll need the forum.
