400f engine part swapping

Can you take the cam and cam cover off one 400f motor and put on another 400f motor or are these all machined and matched at the factory? Thanks.

i would say yes. i did that to a 350f motor last winter, and it ran fine. make sure there is no galling on the tower you are going to put on

Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).
Remember "Its always in the last place you look" COURSE IT IS YOU STOP LOOKIN THEN!
